Law enforcement or other official government agencies that do not want Cantina to notify a user of their request should include a court order or reference to other legal authority that bars Cantina from disclosing the existence of the request to the user.
If your request for information draws Cantina’s attention to a violation of our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, Cantina will take action to prevent further abuse, which may alert the customer to Cantina’s awareness of its misconduct. Your request should explicitly include instruction to Cantina to not take action if you wish to prevent potential awareness on the part of Cantina’s user(s).
