Bullying & Harassment

Our mission of protecting users and providing a positive environment is a critical foundation to empowering creative exploration and connection with friends. For that reason, bullying and harassment are not allowed in Cantina. Anyone violating this policy is subject to warnings and temporary or permanent account suspension. 

What violates this policy?

We prohibit any act, whether on a public surface such as room posts, avatars or account names, or a private message, to harm, intimidate, coerce, or embarrass another person or group. Examples of this type of conduct include but are not limited to:

• Repeated use of abusive language directed at or about another user
• Sharing any type of content intended to hurt, shame, or embarrass another user
• Repeated attempts of unwanted interaction with another user, on Cantina or off-platform
• The coordination of off-platform harassment
• Following a user from room to room with the intent to harass them
• Filing false reports against another user 
• Member profiles created with the likeness of another user in an attempt to embarrass or harass
• Calling for the self-harm or suicide of another user 
• Threatening to physically, emotionally or reputationally harm any user, and in particular, room admins. This includes any retaliation against room admins 
• Threatening to reveal a user’s private sexual content or to disclose their sexual orientation or gender identity
• Creating or renaming rooms with names that are purposefully offensive or targeting another user

How can I report violations of this policy?

Reporting content and interactions that violate our Community Guidelines is essential to fostering a safe environment in Cantina. You can report conduct in violation of this policy by following these instructions. In addition, we encourage you to use our moderation tools to keep yourself and others safe.

If you feel like you or another user is in immediate danger, we encourage you to consider contacting Law Enforcement urgently.
