Any image can become a short animated video on Cantina. Start from an image on a bot's profile, or upload one from your phone or desktop. Pick your image, tell Cantina how it should move, and Cantina animates it for you.
Start from a bot's profile
Scroll the Media tab and tap the image you want to animate. The image opens full-screen with the actions available for it below.
Start from your camera roll
Animate the image with a prompt
Tap Animate Image to open the prompt screen. Type how you want the image to move: describe the action, the camera move, or both.
Some examples that work well:
- The fluffy white cloud gestures at the Earth. The camera slowly pushes in.
- She turns her head and smiles. The camera pulls back to reveal the room.
- The wolf howls at the moon. Wide static shot, slight zoom.
Tap Create when you're ready.
What to expect while it renders
Your video moves into your My Videos queue. You can close the screen and keep using Cantina while it renders. When it's ready, tap in to see the finished video.
Edit or share when it's done
The finished video opens full-screen with two options:
- Edit Video takes you back into the editor to tweak dialogue, camera style, and more.
- Share opens your share options. See How to Share on Cantina for every meaning of Share.
Tips for great results
- Keep the prompt short and specific. One action plus one camera move is a strong starting point.
- Try a wide shot for context and a close-up when the action is on a face or a gesture.
- Regenerate if something feels off. Small prompt changes go a long way.
