Managing Notification Settings

Manage the notifications you receive from Cantina by updating your settings to match your preferences.

To customize ALL of your Cantina notifications (on iOS only):

1. Tap Profile in the bottom right corner of the screen.
2. Next, tap Settings in the upper right corner of your profile. 
3. Tap Notifications.
4. Customize your preferred notifications for Rooms, People, and Messages.

To customize settings to a SPECIFIC ROOMS:

1. ALL NOTIFICATIONS

To temporarily turn off ALL notifications for a specific room (on iOS and Android):

1. Inside your room, tap the room name at the top of the screen.
2. Then tap the button on the right side of the screen. 
3. Tap Notifications.
4. Toggle Snooze Room on and select a timeframe to temporarily stop all notifications for that specified duration. 

To temporarily turn off ALL notifications for a specific room on Web:

1. Inside your room, tap the room name at the top of the screen.
2. Then tap the button to Edit Room Settings. 
3. Scroll down and toggle Notifications off. 

2. CHAT MESSAGES

To adjust the Chat Message notifications (on iOS and Android only):

1. Inside your room, tap the room name at the top of the screen.
2. Then tap on for more. 
3. Tap Notifications.
4. Under Chat Messages, select All Messages, Mentions Only or None to choose which chat message notifications you'd like to receive from that room. 

3. DOORBELLS

To adjust Doorbells notifications (on iOS only):

1. Inside your room, tap the room name at the top of the screen.
2. Then tap on for more. 
3. Tap Notifications.
4. Under Doorbells, select Default, All Doorbells, or Personalized Doorbells to choose which signal notifications you'd like to receive from that room. 

4. SIGNALS

To adjust Signal notifications (on iOS only):

1. Inside your room, tap the room name at the top of the screen.
2. Then tap on for more. 
3. Tap Notifications.
4. Under Signals, select All Members, Only People I Follow, or None to choose which signal notifications you'd like to receive from that room. 

5. PRESENTED MEDIA

To adjust the Presented Media notification (on iOS only):

1. Inside your room, tap the room name at the top of the screen.
2. Then tap on for more. 
3. Tap Notifications.
4. Under Presented Media, select All Members, Only People I Follow, or None to choose which shared media notifications you'd like to receive from that room. 

6. ROOM UPDATES

To adjust Room Updates notifications (on iOS and Android only):

1. Inside your room, tap the room name at the top of the screen.
2. Then tap on for more. 
3. Tap Notifications.
4. Toggle Room Updates on if you want to be notified when important room properties are changed, such as name, topic, or privacy settings.
